An Excel prepared function called STDEV.S determines the Standard Deviation (Std) for a given sample.
The type is =STDEV.S.
Note: Cells containing logic and text are ignored by this function.

Advice: If you have the population’s data, you can utilize an additional function named STDEV.P.
How to use the =STDEV.S function:
- Select a cell (H5)
- Type =STDEV.S
- Double click the STDEV.S command
- Select a range (E2:E21)
- Hit enter
