React Intro

What is React?

React, often known as a frontend JavaScript framework, is a JavaScript library developed by Facebook.

React is a tool for creating UI components.

How does React Work?

React generates a virtual DOM in memory.

Instead of handling the browser’s DOM directly, React constructs a virtual DOM in memory and performs all necessary manipulations before making changes to the browser DOM.

Only react to what has to be altered!

React determines which modifications have been made and only makes the necessary changes.

The remainder of this tutorial will cover the many components of how React does this.
